Queens Cultural Mapping Project

Join us for Episode 1, of a 3-part mini-series produced as a special partnership between Los Herederos and Flushing Town Hall. This series aims to connect listeners with the creative opportunities and offerings of one of our borough’s largest and most dynamic cultural institutions. Today’s segment shares information about Flushing Town Hall’s new Queens Cultural Mapping Project set to release on September 17. Supported by New York State Council on the Arts, this cultural mapping initiative documents the borough’s dynamic artistic and cultural landscape. The project celebrates the rich contributions of the Queens’ arts community while also addressing the challenges faced by its artists and organizations. Program Manager Natalie Bedon will be in conversation with Los Herederos Executive Director, Naomi Sturm-Wijesinghe discussing the initiative and ways to get involved post-release!
