Today we sit down with Caro Durán, a Colombian music producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in New York. As a resident producer at Flux Studios, where she develops specialized courses in music production and collaborates with artists from different genres, Caro has developed herself as an educator and mentor. She is also an official trainer for Ableton Live and Roland Cloud, and collaborates with Yamaha on educational and creative projects. Passionate about blending traditional Latin American sounds with contemporary electronic music, Caro is currently working on a new electronic album. On stage, she presents a dynamic live looping performance that combines analog instruments such as guitar, tiple, and keyboards with digital textures like synthesizers and beats.
