Next Stop this week is the Afro-Diasporic Ocean Festival slated to take place at the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater on Sat Jul 26 2025 from 12:00 – 8:00 PM. The festival offers a day filled with music, dance, food, and celebration of African, Afro-Latinx, and Afro-Carribbean cultures. This year’s theme is celebrating International Afro-descendant Women’s Day and we will be live with festival coordinator Tanya Alfonso as well as performing artists: Koku Gonza, Mai-Elka Prado Gil, Melvis Santa, and Josue Perea.
